QuickBooks Like A Garage?

I just got such a kick out of reading a post by Kelly Totten of Cracker Jack Coaching entitled “5 Ways QuickBooks Is Like A Garage.” Here’s what she says (and I so agree):

1. There are some great tools in there … if you can find them.
2. Having the tools in there doesn’t mean you know how to use them.
3. Every once in a while, you have to clean it up.
4. You don’t want to be embarrassed when someone looks inside.
5. Some people shouldn’t be allowed in there.

Seriously, if you feel this relates to you and bookkeeping is a painful albeit necessary evil, you may just need a little help from someone who actually enjoys it!
